Armor Deck is a beautifully textured floor covering for exterior use as a waterproofing membrane. Armor Deck can turn concrete or plywood surface into beautiful finishes that protect, as well as, preserve. Armor Deck vinyl decking membrane comes in sheets made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) With an interwoven needle punched polyester backing for added strength and flexibility. As well the interwoven needle punched polyester backing is used to ensure that there is no separation between the vinyl and the backing in the present or in the future.

Armor Deck vinyl decking membrane comes in three different degrees of thickness in order to meet the needs of the construction and building industry standards.
Maintenance free designer vinyl decking is Canadian made product. It is approved for walking decks over habitable spaces. CAN/CGSB 37.54 – 95, CAN/CGSB 75.1 & ICBO AC – 39. Armor Deck vinyl-decking membrane comes in three different degrees of thickness in order to meet the needs of the construction and building industry standards.
40 mil 40 mil Product, reinforced Armor Deck polyvinyl chloride
decking membrane for use over standard surface areas
such as; sundecks, patios, pools surrounds, hot tubs,
boathouses and sport courts.
66 mil 66 mil Product, reinforced Armor Deck polyvinyl chloride
decking membrane for use over habitable area such as;
bedrooms, offices and other finished areas. This vinyl
decking membrane meets the Canadian Government
Standards Board requirement for approved roofing
and waterproofing membrane in accordance with CGSB
regulations.
It is the thickest PVC vinyl decking membrane on the market.
60 mil 60 mil Slick back Product, reinforced Armored Deck polyvinyl
chlorine decking membrane for use over habitable area such as;
bedrooms, offices and other finished areas. This vinyl decking
membrane meets the Canadian Government Standards Board
requirement for approved roofing and waterproofing membrane in
accordance with CGSB regulations.
Armor Deck Assets and Essentials
100% Waterproof - Armor deck vinyl decking membrane is used to create a water ingress barrier between your decking surface and mother nature' elements.
Slip Resistant - Armor Deck vinyl decking membrane is uniquely textured, to ensure a slip resistant surface.
Rot & Mildew Resistant- Armor Deck vinyl decking membrane contains chemical properties which hinder rot and mildew development.
Acid Resistant- Armor Deck Vinyl decking membrane is formulated to resist chemical breakdown when exposed to common household toxins such as chlorine, solvent and acid rain.
Fire Resistant- Armor Deck vinyl decking membrane is formulated with a fire retardant and will therefore not fuel a potential fire source.
Installation
Armor deck vinyl decking is installed with double bond or contact cement and is then triple welded at the seams for a water tight finish. The overall finish product is beautiful, as well as, completely waterproof. Installation of Armor Deck Vinyl decking membrane is to be performed by certified Armor Deck Dealers and/or Armor Deck Installers in order to qualify for the 5 year manufacturers warranty.
Warranty
The Armor Deck vinyl decking surface is warranted to be free from defective material from a period of sixty months from the date of installation. This warranty does not include repairs or replacement due to misuse or abuse. Repairs made by other than a certified Armor Deck representative absolve Sea To Sky Armor Deck of further liability under this warranty. The installation company is responsible to warrant labour and workmanship on the vinyl decking surface
Armor Deck's vinyl decking warranty on materials is comparative with industry standards. Sea To Sky Armor Deck offers a five-year limited warranty on our 40 mil. and 60 mil. slick back pvc vinyl. We also offer a 10- year limited warranty on our 66 mil. vinyl product. Specifications are derived from averages resulting from normal manufacturing tolerances in basic materials, temperatures, and humidity and may vary within industry tolerances. Performance is not affected by such variances, which may be up to five percent, plus or minus. Quality controls tests to accept or reject goods must be performed prior to cutting and installation.
Maintenance
Proper home maintenance of Armor Deck vinyl decking membrane differs by the season. To clean your Armor Deck vinyl decking in the spring and the summer hose off the surface area with a pressure nozzle. For an extra clean deck surface we recommend a mild kitchen soap, water and stiff bristle nylon brush or broom. Please refrain from using products that contain or are bleach formulated as they may slightly discolor the surface of the vinyl membrane itself. In the winter, we recommend that plastic snow shovel be used to remove any snow and/or ice build-up. Salt use during icy conditions will not harm the vinyl decking membrane.
Armor Deck vinyl decking membrane has been design in such way that the waterproofing membrane can be repaired with relative ease, should any damage occur.
Please note that silicone is part of home maintenance and should be replaced periodically.
