Yes, Armor Deck Ltd. and its associates have worked hard to create a Canadian-made vinyl decking product that will work with your budget and the requirements of B.C. Building Code. Armor Deck vinyl decking membrane is manufactured in accordance with the Canadian Building Standards. Armor Deck vinyl decking can serve as a roofing grade and walking deck membrane in accordance with CAN/CGSB 37.54-95 and ICBO AC-39. Check with your Armor Deck representative to see which Armor Deck vinyl decking product suits your needs and requirements. Armor Deck Ltd. also carries a vinyl decking membrane with a Class A & C Fire Rating to meet your roofing and waking deck needs.
The Armor Deck vinyl decking surface is warranted to be free from defective material for a period of 120 months from the date of installation.
This warranty does not include repairs or replacement due to misuse or abuse. Repairs made by other than a certified Armor Deck representative absolve Sea to Sky Armor Deck of further liability under this warranty. The installation company is responsible to warrant labor and workmanship on the vinyl decking surface
Armor Deck’s vinyl decking warranty on materials is comparative with industry standards. Sea to Sky Armor Deck offers a ten-year limited warranty on our 60 mil slick-back PVC vinyl. We also offer a 10 – year limited warranty on our 66 mil vinyl product. Specifications are derived from averages resulting from normal manufacturing tolerances in basic materials, temperatures, and humidity and may vary within industry tolerances. Performance is not affected by such variances, which may be up to five percent, plus or minus.
Quality control tests to accept or reject goods must be performed prior to cutting and installation.
Armor deck vinyl decking is installed with double bond or contact cement and is then triple-welded at the seams for a watertight finish. The overall finished product is beautiful as well as completely waterproof. Installation of Armor Deck Vinyl decking membrane is to be performed by certified Armor Deck dealers and/or Armor Deck installers in order to qualify for a 10 year manufacturer’s warranty. Armor Deck vinyl decking membrane can be installed over standard moisture exposed areas such as; sundecks, patios, pool surrounds, boathouses and other recreational areas.
